October is here!!!

Wow, Autumn is definitely upon us! I don't want to talk about the weather TOO much, because I don't want to anger all of my friends/family in the Sacramento area that are still dealing with some annoying Summer heat that just won't stop... but Fall has definitely hit the Philadelphia area. The leaves are all still fairly green and haven't fallen yet, but I think there should be some beautiful changing leaves very soon (and you know I'll bombard you with tons of pictures of trees when that does happen). It's been pretty darn frigid around here for the past two weeks or so, and today was so chilly that my lightweight fleece wasn't even warm enough! I took Guinness outside for a quick bathroom trip, and I was wishing I had on a warmer sweater.

And with that in mind, I decorated our little rental house for Halloween! I haven't totally finished it, and I did kind of a lazy job so far... but there's still time for me to improve it. I basically put everything on our fireplace mantel, because that's the only place that Guinness can't reach. Last year I was able to put stuff on our dining room table because it was up against a wall, but now it's in the middle of the floor so Guinness can reach all sides of it... NOT good. So, our mantel is super-decorated (on top of and around all of our electronics....) until I figure out some other options.

Here's a collection of some cute decorations!

This is the new tealight holder I got at the big Yankee Candle store a few months ago with Lindsey! I'd mentioned in that blog post that I bought a few Halloween decorations, and this is one of them! It's very Poe-esque to me.

Here's a cute bat that my parents got me!!

Here's a cool pumpkin wood cutout my parents got me, and then 3 gourds from Reagan for coming to her birthday party (more on that later!)

This is one of the two Yankee Candle scents I'm currently obsessed with. The other one is Apple Spice, and it is AMAZING.

Last weekend I drove down to visit Lindsey, and help her celebrate her daughter Reagan's 3rd birthday! The party had a farm theme, and Lindsey even organized a petting zoo and pony rides at her house! There were lots of cute animals that I had a great time petting, but my favorite was the little cow. The cow was so cute and chill, and it even took a nap towards the end of the party. I loved it, and I think we bonded.

Here's my little cow sleeping! So precious.

Here's Reagan and Colby in the cutout that Lindsey made!

Here's a goat named Tank, and Colby.

Here's Lindsey walking next to both of her daughters on the pony.

This weekend is the Yuengling Oktoberfest, so I'll definitely take some pictures of that! I hope you're all doing really well, and I hope you're all enjoying some lovely Fall weather, or that you will be very soon!! My fingers are crossed that Sacramento area temperatures cool off very soon!!
